About My Approach

Therapy with me is about building a trusting, genuine relationship. I provide a safe, judgment-free space where you can be your authentic self while working toward meaningful change. My approach is collaborative and culturally sensitive, allowing us to explore your experiences at a pace that feels right for you. I specialize in helping individuals navigate a wide range of mental health challenges, including:

  • Mood & Anxiety Disorders – Depression, anxiety, chronic stress, grief, and loss
  • ADHD & Behavioral Challenges – Impulsivity, procrastination, emotional regulation, addictions (alcohol, nicotine, cannabis, gambling, pornography)
  • Trauma & Self-Esteem – Guilt, shame, confidence, body image concerns, suicidal thoughts, negative thinking patterns
  • Relationship & Interpersonal Struggles – Boundaries, avoidance, confrontation, lying, and communication difficulties

My therapeutic approach is tailored to each client’s unique needs, blending evidence-based methods such as:

  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
  • Humanistic Therapy
  • Mindfulness
  • Motivational Interviewing

Whether you’re an adult, young adult, or teen, my goal is to help you gain self-awareness, build resilience, and develop tools to navigate life’s challenges with confidence.

What Therapy With Me Is (And Isn’t)

✅ A collaborative space where you set the pace and focus

❌ A rigid, one-size-fits-all process—I won’t assign forced “homework” or push conversations before you’re ready

✅ A supportive, client-centered experience designed to foster growth and self-acceptance

Why I Became a Therapist

After nearly a decade in medical sales, I saw firsthand the impact of stress and burnout—both personally and in the healthcare community. The pandemic was a turning point, leading me to prioritize my mental health and pursue my passion for helping others. With the encouragement of my wife, family, and friends, I earned my master’s in counseling and transitioned into the work that truly fulfills me.

Education & Background

  • Master’s in Counseling – Adler University
  • Undergraduate Degree – University of Dayton (Marketing & International Business)
  • Former Medical Sales Representative – Medline Industries

A Bit About Me

Outside of therapy, I’m a lifelong Batman fan, an avid Chicago sports enthusiast (Cubs, Bulls, Bears), and a music lover who plays guitar. I enjoy hiking, fishing, walking my “60 pound-hound”, Bridget, shooting hoops, and spending time with my family.

Let’s work together to help you live a life that feels true to who you are.
